Rural Inclusion is registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC) in the United Kingdom and regulated by the Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies based in Cardiff, Wales

A community interest company is an innovative structure in the United Kingdom, designed for social enterprises that want to use their profits and assets for the public good. CICs are intended to have all of the flexibility and certainty of the company form, but with some special features to ensure that they are working for the benefit of the community.
