Accelerating Grassroot Organisations
Rural Inclusion is building a first of its kind tech-enabled and scalable programme to provide the leaders of community-based organisations (CBOs) that serve smallholder farmers with the skills, tools and network to accelerate their local impact. The programme is expected to launch in early 2025 and our profits will be used to support the implementation.
Our Model
- We identify early-stage community-based organisations that are mission aligned and already doing fantastic work, but are often underfunded, unheard and unseen.
- Working with our Inclusion Ambassadors and local delivery partners, we invite organisations that we identify to participate in our accelerator programme, delivered through Ostrii.
- Organisations receive capacity on five areas:
- Programming
- Income Generation
- Digital Skills
- Financial Management
- Leadership & Governance
- We track the performance and progress of organisations and connect the best performing with a network of partners and funders to further amplify their growth.

- The programme will initially be delivered by local partners to community-based organisations in Malawi, Kenya and Tanzania.
